Dear: Teresa DeJong of High Creek Farms
I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping
support Salem Orphanage Home in their efforts to raise awareness and
donations through the Pig Roast Fundraiser on October 1, 2011.
Thanks to your donation of your time and effort for catering the
dinner it enabled us to raise close to $2500 that will go directly
to Kisumu Kenya to help sustain the orphanage, schools, church and
community outreach. We are forever grateful for your generosity. It
takes people like you to show how “One Person Can Truly Make A
Difference.”
Salem Orphanage Home is a non-profit organization in Kenya, Africa
that aids the community of Kisumu in various ways. The organization
is comprised of four different parts to ensure all community members
are being helped; Orphanage, Primary and Secondary School, Church
and Community Outreach. The organization was established in 1992 and
has been successful by housing over 100 children at the orphanage,
sponsoring children from the slums to go to school and aiding
community members with medicine, treatment and awareness of
HIV/AIDS. Thank you to your donation we have enabled Salem Orphanage
Home to continue making a great impact on Kenyan’s lives within
Kisumu.
